Problem Installing batteries in cordless headphones

I received a ARKON HP1180 cordless sterea headphone system as a present.I assume the batteries need installing as they were supplied loose with the system, but I cannot find where to install them. The instructions say to insert 2 LR03@AAA batteries on the RIGHT HAND receiver headphone, and afterwards to close the battery compartment cover. THERE IS NO COVER.The REPLACING batteries instruction tell me to remove the cloth padding around the left and right headphones and install the batteries in their housings as ilustrated. Ther is no illustration and no housing. CAN ANYONE HELP?

Having removed the soft pad, there is a flat sheet of plastic attatched that goes round the speaker (sort of doughnut shaped, with a hole in the middle where the speaker sticks out). Carefully pull this perpendicular to the speaker, and it'll come off (the four rectangles you can see on the surface of the sheet are pegs that click into the main body to hold it in place). Under there will be one battery compartment. Repeat both sides, and you're done. This stumped me for ages!

Pioneer VSX-456 headphone jack problem

No the headphone jack doesn't disable the speakers. There are two switches in the lower middle of the receiver that are labeled speaker A and B. Pushing one of these should disconnect the speakers from the receiver.

Headphone jack is an output not input jack. Your going to need a cord to go from your headphone jack(output) of your phone to audio input on your receiver. The cord has a mini stereo plug to the phone and RCA plugs of left and right to your receiver auxiliary input. Good luck..

There is a headphone jack on the Sony's front panel, on the right near the bottom edge. Connect the sender part of your wireless headphones to that jack. You may need some form of adapter depending on the sender's input connectors. If the wireless headphone system is working properly, this will give you sound.

No I don't think so . These are complex units . If your headphones work then is routing the sound to the output circuit then you should get sound out the output jacks. Are your speakers turned off or set to output to speakers b ? Give me more details at ledstiles@hotmail.com I'll try and walk you through it. Larry's Electronics
