GPS will not stick to the windshield.

Check to make sure that the suction cup you have is the appropiate size for your GPS unit. Also check to make sure there is no grease or other slippery substance on the windshield or suction cup that stops it from sticking to the surface. If you have something like Rain-X on your windshield, you will need to clean the area where the suction cup will be placed, and after that, it should stick.

The GPS suction cupwill no longer stickto the windshield. We have cleaned the windshield with alcohol. Still doesn't stick.

clean both sides with alcohol. If that doesn't work, I find a light coating of spit (yes it's gross) will help it hold.

Bent lever for use of suction cup on c330 garmin

As this model is discontinued with garmin, I would suspect you would have to but the entire mount. It never hurts to have an extra kicking around.
Check the garmin site.

Can I replace the battery in my c330. Will not

Yes...... but keep in mind, it's not easy.
Step 1 remove the face.

Step 2, remove the screws. There are 4, one in each corner

Step 3, The hardest part. You can pull the unit apart with ease, but I must stress, keep note of the antenna which is at the top of the Garmin unit. Slightly open the unit like a hing with the top being the hing so you can take note of the antenna and how it sits. If you don't pay attention, you may not be able to put the unit back together.

Once you make the necessary notes, the unit comes apart as you can see here. There are two screws holding the battery.

The only problem here is that the plug housing the wires to the battery also hold the wiring to the Garmin speakers. Even though you can remove the plug, you will need to splice in the new battery. You can get these on Ebay.

Garmin street pilot c330 - Suction cup lever broken

If you cannot un-assemble the suction cup assembly to fix it, then you would have to replace it. If it is under warranty, demand an exchange.

What is the purpose of the car plug with the c330?

If you charged the GPS using the USB cable from a computer, this is too low a current for the size of battery that it has. You must use the dedicated AC charger, or the car charger.

If your unit has a battery in it that is older than about 3 to 4 years, it is possible that the battery is no longer able to hold the full charge.

The service rep for your GPS can change the battery for you if it is no longer holding the charge.

Gps c330 motorcycle mount

Ram makes a handlebar mount that is available on Ebay specifically for the C330, search "c330 motorcycle" or there is a guy I just read that has used the suction cup mount to his tank. He says it works great! I am going to try it out.

Cracked screen on Garmin street pilot 330

Given the cost of buying a new LCD with touchscreen is about $130 USD + shipping. Your best solution is to sell the existing unit and buy a new Nuvi or recondition C330.

Garmin will repair the unit for $150 and provide the lastest update and map.
