Question about West Bend 84596 6-Quart Slow Cooker

When I plug in my 84596 west bend it gives me eo1 with a beep

I can not get it to turn on at all please advise

The E01 error message happened to me this morning. I unplugged the crock pot, held the "cook" button and plugged it back in while holding in the "cook" button. It seemed to reset itself. It is working fine now.

Small auxilliary burner will not stay lit, however long the knob is held in.

You need a new thermocouple which is that little post that the flame heats up when you are holding the button in. You need to get a qualified gas fitter to do this, due to the dangers of home repairs and the explosive nature of gas.

Go to West Bend products on the internet. look for your cooker by model and then go to their parts department when you find the serial number of the part. Order from them directly as they are the only manufacture of that part.

Cooker manual needed for philippe richard 8 qt pressure cooker

I purchased a Philippe Richard 6 qt pressure cooker and the second time I used it I noticed steam venting out of the pressure handle lock. later I stepped on something in the floor. it was the aluminum part for the pressure lock. I didassembled the handle but don't know how to get the part back in place, please advise. thank you
