Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I would like to link 2 ps3's together for multiplayer gaming without an internet connection. My friend has a ps3 and I have one, we have tried using a crossover cable to connect the two via the network cards, we have done this with our X-box consoles, but cannot seem to get the same result with ps3. Is it even possible to do so and could you explain how to connect them if so.
Its possible but very hard to do with a ps3 you need to get geek squad to come set it up

The game you are playing should give you the option to make a local game. Not all games have that feature

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
