The part is Philips p/n: 3535B4A0025A330A1 which is a 25-30MFD, 330 volt starting capacitor. Can you quote a replacement part?

Sorry but fixya.com doesn't sell things and are unable to quote.

Quite often the capacitor of a motor is housed in a small box attached to the motor and the design is such that only a like-for-like replacement will fit and maintain the "enclosed" design of the motor and faced with this problem, many will resort to buying a replacement as a spare part of the machine from the original supplier or manufacturer.
Those that choose this route usually pay four or more times the cost of a replacement from a capacitor supplier. Phillips would usually be happy to provide you with details of their local stockists.

If a capacitor with different dimension will fit the housing then almost any motor specialist or capacitor supplier will be able to provide a replacement. Link below to such a company...

What capacitor do I need for cr34k6pfv220 compressor?

Should be a 30mfd 370vac. If you read the data plate on the compressor itself it should say run cap size.

I have a Daewoo air conditioner that's brand newand doesn't get cold help me

most likely its the capacitor that's defective .... 12000btu_ 30uf 370volt, 18000btu _35uf 370volt ,24000_40uf 370volt . These are the average values for the respective units .However the better thing is to take it out and get a replacement .Its located in the outside box(condenser) as you take out the side panel where the electrical goes in.Beware and take off the power before entering in.

Can a 30 mfd capacitor run an 18000btu a/c with out any problem

Hi, Kasirye! 18.000 Btu A/C in most cases used 35 or 40 mfd cap. , during start up if the capacitor is too short it may hang and the compressor can heat up. But if you h've an amp. meter you can also measure the current of the compressor if it is in the range given on the name plate on the outdoor unit. Also you may check the charge of freon (example. 22) in the system. the suction has to be between 60-70 and the suction 225-275 psi (normal weather). If ihere is an over charge, you can have compressor overheating too!! I hope this was helpful to you!!

Two ton spilt ac how many mfd capacitor need to be fix

usually takes 25mfd or 30mfd for compressor and 3 mfd for fan motor. Depending on what compressor is used I would recommend 30uf rating for the compressor and it should be fine, most compressor will operate within 10 to 15 percent of rating plus or minus with no problems. Also the 3mfd rating is based on OEM motor, if it has been replaced then probably a 5mfd is required.

I have an 18000BTU unit that has an LED that flashes 5 times and then stops, could you pls advize as to the error code of the LED flashes.

You haven't mentioned the brand name. As the error code changes brand to brand I give some solutions. Check with your unit.
e-5 Outdoor activation of compressor over heat protection-Clean condenser coil and check out door f.motor speed. If less replace capacitor.
e-5. Blower motor lock Rotate manually. If hard to rotate, replace bearings or motor. If easy to rotate, replace capacitor.
Please mention brand name and other full details to get solution quickly. Thanks.

I have an A O Smith 2HP B748 motor. The motor capacitor leaked out all of its oil in the 107 degree heat. It is 30mfd 370 volt but only 3 1/2" tall with the leads. All I can find 4 3/4 which wont fit the...

If you have a local repair shop that rebuilds electric motors they will have the right capacitor. If you need to you can put the cover back on the motor that the capacitor was in run the two wires under the lip of the cover and plug them into the capacitor thats to big. Use zip tie or even better a small strip of plumbers strap. (this can be found at any hardware/plumbing store) You can use the zip ties around the motor or attach the plumbing strap by putting it around the capacitor and using the screw that holds the old capacitor housing to hold the strap to the motor. You can get an exact replacement capacitor online or from Marcone appliance parts in St. Louis Missouri.
But the best place is a local shop as I already mentioned that rebuilds electric motors. good luck
