You need to change camera setting so that it store images in memory card. right now it is storing image on phone memory. open camera and you will have setting or option there.

I can't retrieve my photos it says I only have 3 stored i had 177 yesterday where would they be on my nokia 6700 slide, i took my memory card out to check and it still only reads 3 photos

Hi,
did you put the memory card into a pc card slot to check the contents?
Go into >options/phone settings/ data manager/ on the phone. There should be an icon for the memory card in here. Click on mem,ory card icon, then press options. Check how many megabytes is used near the 'images'.
also don't remove the memory while the phone is on, you can fry it doing so. Please use the option in settings to 'remove card'.
Thanks.
please reply with other info.

Saving to the SD 1g memory card

THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE ALL FILES!!!
(even password)
Take the memorycard out of the phone and,
put it in a computer.Use filesystem FAT-32
to reformat your memorycard.
Now the card will work again!
No password, No files will be left after a
complete reformat
This is your solution! Please vote!

I also purchased a samsung sgh j700v and cannot get the memory

I have same problem and went on samsung website for support and they told me you can`t set this phone to store photos etc direct to the mem card. So we will just have to move them manually from phone to card which is a bit of a pain if you take lots of pics. Hope this helps. Try samsung website.

Low phone memory....cant store anyfing nokia N73

this is normal to all n73, before its too late you must back up all your files: pictures, musics, videos, contacts, etc.
restore it to original setting, or hard format your phone by turning it off and hold press the green or call key, number 3 and asterisk, while holding this turn on your phone,

and also format your memory card on your phone
your phone is good as new again

Low Memory for N72

hi, do you have an extra mem card in the phone if you have then move some data to this as the phone dont use the memory on card unless you put stuff their yourself, so the phone will say mem full even if memory card is empty so try this first.
1. delete any messages in inbox/outbox/sent messages as these will take up mem
2. delete any old phone numbers/pictures/screen savers that you dont use.
3. the best way to free up loads of memory is by deleting all of the free ringtones you got with the phone most of the free ones you will never use so i deleted all of these and just kept the ringtones i used most people never use the free ones you get when buying the phone so doing this will free up loads of room. Also delete any ringtones you have put on their that you never use as the music ringtones can use loads of mem alot more than the standard tones.
4. every time you send a message your phone stores them in sent messages so delete all of these.
Once you have done all of this you will find you have loads of free memory.
The best thing to do if you have a memory card in your phone is move all the music/music ringtones that you want to keep onto the card doing this means you can still use the ringtones and free up loads of the phones memory.
The phone dont take the mem card into acount when its telling you mem full ok so put as much on mem card as you can ok.
Let me know how you get on and also if you need further assistance ok
