Codes for omnitech remote

I need the code(s) for a JVC DVD (5 disc). I tried the search for codes method and it didn't work. (It did work for my Motorola cable box)

I actually tried all the codes given. There are a couple different ones in the manual that came with the remote. None of the codes given worked. I even tried using the search method but that didn't work at least not for my JVC DVD.

Find Code for Motorola Cable Box which Works for the Innovage Jumbo Remote Control

Had the same problem with my Jumbo Remote - found the code under the "General Instruments" list (051 for me). Also noticed that my cable box has a sticker on the front with a serial number starting with "GI," most likely more evidence of the General Instruments conection. Able to get all the functions to work: guide, menu, etc. Good luck!! - JQ
