Can't enter casio qt-2000 pgm mode

We took over an outgoing bussiness which had a casio qt-2000 cash register, we want to re-program it but the operating manual that was left with the machine saids very little, it just said press the PGM button to enter PGM mode to make changes, but when i press that button it just beeps and displays "operator mistake", i've tried flipping and turning over the template but can't enter PGM mode, am i missing anything ?

You can only enter PGM mode as manager.(our manager key is #1). The, you are brought to a admin menu.

Got casio qt2000 till, using hospitality 1.35 build 181. Single connection to PC com3:, no printers terminal only and cash draw. Simple single bar senario, Drinks, Read takins and item groups at end...

I think you enter date in std Casio format: PGM1 mode, Type YYMMDD then press X/TIME button
If you go to Z mode and try a report, what happens?

How transfering date from Casio Cash register to Casio Compact flash card

I dont believe this can be done. To program the date in any Casio register.
Turn the key to PGM usually this will place you in PGM 1 now enter the date as YY/MM/DD now press the (@,x, or the multiplication key) when you see the date or time press clear!

Key to Program enter 3 subtotal 1 tax pgm (tax rate with decimal) cash tend subtotal.
ie 7.35%
3subtotal1 tax pgm 7.35 cash tend subtotal

I am not personally familiar with this product, but i have located a manual that details basic and advanced programming features for your model.
