Hi To Pair the Phone, while the headset is off, press and hold the Volume button until the headset indicator light shines steadily. Open the folding microphone while the light shines steadily. Set your phone to look for the headset by turning on the bluetoth and starting discovery mode. After your phone finds the device and you accept the pair with the headset enter the password 0000 The headset light should flash several times to indicate the pair. How to connet bluetooth on nokia 5230

Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows devices to communicate via high-frequency radio signals. Bluetooth headphones are just one of the many devices designed to work with portable music devices as well as ordinary phones. With Bluetooth headphones, you can listen to music as well as make and receive calls--all from the same device. Connecting them is a snap.

  • Turn on your cell phone. Enable Bluetooth by accessing your phone's general or network settings. Your phone will search for Bluetooth signals in the area--they are usually denoted by a small icon displayed on the screen. If you don't know how to turn on Bluetooth or aren't sure whether your phone supports Bluetooth technology, refer to your phone's user guide.

Turn on your Bluetooth headphones while near your cell phone. Turning on a Bluetooth-enabled device will usually put it in pairing mode, meaning it is actively searching for a device to connect to. Since your phone also is actively searching for a Bluetooth device, it should find it right away and prompt you to connect to it. It may ask for a password--refer to your headset's user manual for the default password and how to change it.

Test your connection. Once your headset is paired, the phone will usually start sending calls and audio to it without any additional configuration. Some phones may prompt you and ask which device to use. Try making calls and/or playing music. If you hear music from only one ear, your phone may not support stereo Bluetooth. If you don't hear anything, re-pair the headphones. Power off your phone and headphones, then turn them back on and repeat steps 1 and 2.

Bought a new iphone and cannot install the bluetooth without the password - have had the bluetooth for several years and do not have a clue what passcode is...what do i do now?

You see, the pairing code for this headset is hardcoded to '0000' (four zeros).

By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location. You'll find detailed instructions on how to pair your headset to your phone there.

Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you out any further.

My voyager pro will auto pair with my samsung gt-b2710 but then disconnects after 5 seconds

I would suggest deleting the Voyager Pro from your phone. Turn your phone and headset off and then back on after about 30 sec. You will need to reconnect the headset to the phone again. Use pass code 0000 (4 zero's) if you phone ask for it. See page 8 of user guide for further tips. User guide attached below.

HS-23 Not Being Recognized by Phone

Rub the pins of your headset, and your phone with some tissue paper or something like that.
You might use some cleansining agent like alcohol.

Switch off your phone while doing that.

    I too encounter such problems.

Motorola HS 850 Mic is not working.

perhaps it is in "mute mode" which can be activated on the headset itself by simultaneously pressing both the up and down volume buttons. Also, have you tried deleting the device from the phone you are using before you pair it up again? finally is there any firmware/software update available for the phone? This can be the case frequently with bluetooth problems with Blackberry devices (I know this from painful experience with this same headset). Good luck.
