Songs delete, memory doesnt

Ok, I put some songs on my MP3 and didn't want them anymore, so I deleted them. When I tried to put new ones on, it said the memory was all taken up. When I go to the playlist, it says there are no songs, but their memory space still takes up all of the memory. I never have had anything on it except the songs, so that's what is taking up the space even though i cannot find them on it.

Cant deleat songs

Re format the player. It thinks that you deleted parts of the other songs. They do this from time to time. Go under Pearl options, and select format. It will delete all current songs, but when you load the new ones, they will play better.

I can't delete the songs and the computer says my mp3 is "full"

You need to be in MSC mode to do deletion in My Computer; put in MSC mode in the settings menu under USB, then plug in, go to My Computer and open it as a drive, go to Music folder and delete by rightclicking on songs and choosing delete. You can also format the player by rightclicking on the drive letter of the sansa and choosing format. If you are deleting from a program like Rhapsody (ugh) or windows media player, you will get a lot of issues and not all will delete. Stick with My Computer in MSC. Also as a side note, make sure you have all file folders showing including hidden files in the tools menu in My Computer
