To open the website in any Browser, you need to ping the website by this site:- Whoisxy.com. This gives the ip address of the site, data transferring time etc.. Sometimes Domain name URL gets blocked by Firewall. Instead of Domain name, use IP address for the website.

How to get rid of searchnu ?
Go to Control Panel
Go to Programs
Then go to Programs and Features
Find Searchnu in the list
Click on Searchnu and then go to the top and uninstall

You may try going to the Store of Google Chrome, then go to section called Installed and then select it and click x

If that did not help, try going to Tools - Settings - Extensions - and try removing it from there.
