Re: installing sound for Dictionary
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, without knowing the exact program/software, possibilities are:
design feature. This is a security feature of the program to ensure that only original copies of the program are used;
insufficient free hard drive space. It is possible that the partition/hard drive where the program has to be installed has insufficient free space to accommodate the entire contents of the disc;
antivirus/firewall. some antivirus programs running in the background may mistook the installation as a probable virus attack and prevents the installation action. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus when installing;
an alternative to the inserting of the CD is to create a virtual copy of the disc, create avirtual CD/DVD drive and permanently load the virtual copy into the virtual CD/DVD ROM drive.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy New Year.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Easy way to restore Dictionary in Samsung GT-S3850 Corby 2
You need only: 1. Your Corby phone memory space at least 7mb (in Phone, not memory card) 2. Internet Access.
You can download dictionary from your phone Menu/Dictionary/Download a Dictionary, choose dictionary (Corby 2 Dictionary built in is English to English) then download it,.. Downloading..... Wait until the notice comes out from the top of the screen "File Downloaded", tap on notice and install, go back to your dictionary in phone menu, tap on English to English and Set, Well done.
If you already download/installed but nothing's happen, just follow the 3 steps below.
1st. Make sure to DELETE the ".dic" file that you've download to your phone (dictionary file name contains CollinsEng*.dic) can be found/restore in "My Files/Others". It was hidden, but it can be shown and never be hidden again once you restart your phone. So you better check again and delete the file if you found it.
2nd. You need to use the system Defualt theme. (if you're using other/downloaded themes, go to "My Files/Themes/Defualt theme.smt" and set to change ur theme to default).
3rd. Set your "WAP downloads defualt memory" to Phone. (located at "Settings/Memory/Defualt memory - WAP Downloads set to Phone , not in memory card, because the dictionary need to be saved in phone)
After the 3 steps, Try again to download a dictionary. (How to process? ...just read above)
You can revert the changes of your phone after installing dictionary.
If you just recently upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007, and you use Outlook Express you may have noticed that your dictionary for your spellchecker will only work for French. seems that the dictionaries included in office 2007 will not support Outlook Express 6, to get your dictionary back to where it will check your English or Spanish E-mail what you need to do is to run an earlier Office versions setup in custom install mode and selecting the module dealing with the dictionary.
ex. I used Frontpage 2003 and ran the custom install making sure that the dictionary was active. When I went ran Outlook express next and checked under options the selected spellchecker was in English.
well you have not mentioned which kind of dictionary. well if you want to install english english dictionary then log into m.getjar.com and search for "vikarant" and download vikarant chavan dictionary, you can also download dictionary9 from dictionary9.com these are good dictionary. Well you can also download oxford mini dictionary from umnet.com
All you would need to do is download a spellcheck software and install it. By installing this software it will change all the default dictionary languages to english, at which point it will allow you to start using spellcheck in english.
1.Download this file www.snapfiles.com/download/dlspelloe.html 2.Once you have downloaded the software, double-click on the file and continue with the setup
3.Once that is complete, restart your computer.
4.Now test it out and you should have your spellcheck back up and running
Yes you can, there are English dictionary created in JAVA platform. If your phone supports JAVA you can download an English dictionary from mobile phone sites like http://www.mobiles24.com. Just search dictionary and you will have different options.
If you have installed a JAVA game/s before on your phone, installing this kind of software will be the same. I hope I was able to give you some ideas with your query.
