It'll be a little expensive, but after about two years of missing my cable, i finally found one that works! it won't let you upload content to it, but it will charge. the solution is a little expensive, though. When you buy the PS3 game, Warhawk, it comes with a little bluetooth headset and a usb cable to charge it. This cable fits the KPEX! It's the best solution i could find. I guess i'll just have to buy a miniSD card to use new content. Hope this helps!

I have this samsung mp3 YP-U3, it was working months before and out of a sudden it just couldn't be recognized and it became 'unknown device'' It became worse till my laptop doesn't appear anything if I...

It could be a problem with the cable.
Are you using the same cable you have all along?
One of my players works perfectly well on one cable, bit not on another, although that cable works perfectly on another player.
Also, the cable may be faulty, and not making a data connection, though still charging.
Try a new cable.

When I Connect My Ipod Touch 8gb To My Computer It Wont Turn On And I Didnt Charge It For Like A Month What Should I Do Please Help Me!!!

You are right, it doesn't have enough power to turn on because the battery was drained. You're saying that it wont charge? It could only be the USB cable problem. Try to use a different iPod USB cable and check if it charges the iPod. Another thing is try to charge the iPod using the stand alone USB charger. Your iPod requires high power input. If that doesn't work, you may start to think that it is a battery failure.

Try restoring it...here's how...
  1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
  2. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
  3. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to iPhone. When you reconnect the USB to iPhone, the device should then power on.

Note: If you see the message "Charging... Please Wait" , let the device charge for at least 10 minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.
  4. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
  5. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button andiTuneswill display the recovery mode message:

If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.
You will lose all your data though...

Mains charger

i contacted apple support and emailed them with the problem and as it is still under warranty, they are going to send me a packaging box to send back to them so they can see what the problem is. if they can't repair it they will give me a replacement ipod. i have only had it 6 months and it has been working fine, but lately i cannot charge it by mains or car charger, only usb cable.

try this
"If your Zen V is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause."
