Question about Akai DVPS7000 DVD Player

Open Question

DVD player will not power on

Recently my Akai will turned on by main power button on unit will not operate correctly. It maintains a blinkling LED with a click once every second. It did not help unplugging the unit for a day or so, it continues to blink and click. 120 Volts is present at receptacle and have concluded it is something internal to the player.

I need code(s) for my DVD Video, Model #: NB093 remote control to program my Philips DVD Player/VCR, Model #: DVP3345V/17. Can you please help me? I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a picture of it. lists the code for your device as possibly being 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005. Of course, you also have the option of using the remote controller's "Code Search" button. 25300580-iv4burzhkawezvl2jbah1xae-2-0.jpg With Codes:
Turn on the DVD/VCR unit directly. Continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Enter the four-digit code (1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005) for the DVD/VCR unit. The remote controller's light should go off. Press the remote controller's power button, & when the DVD/VCR unit turns off, then you will know that the remote controller has been correctly programmed.

Without Codes:

With the DVD/VCR unit on, continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Continue to tap the remote controller's UP or DOWN channel button ONLY UNTIL the DVD/VCR unit responds. Then, press the power button on the remote controller once the channel has changed. If the DVD/VCR unit shuts off, then press the power button again to turn it back on. If the DVD/VCR unit turns on, then the remote controller has been correctly programmed. Otherwise, repeat this whole process until the remote controller is correctly programmed.

Malata 6838 dvd karaoke player plays at middle power off by itself

From the description it is the microprocessor ic that is the issue, as the temperature rises it starts to break down under load until it shuts the player down. It is far cheaper to replace than go through a costly repair.

When I turn on the power button, the LED on the front of the unit lights up and indicated the volume level, then briefly the "Welcome DVD" message, then turns off. This all happens in 2 or 3...

I'm sorry that the DVD player is not working as expected. Please follow the troubleshooting steps and check the operation:
  • Please make sure that the connections are secure and proper.
  • Perform a power resetting and check the operation. To perform the power resetting, unplug the DVD player from wall outlet for more than 2 minutes and then reconnect it.
  • I also suggest that you try connecting the DVD player to a different Wall outlet and check the operation.
  • If the issue persists, please open the box and check for any loose connection.

Thanks for understanding.

Please get back to me if the issue persists.

It is an internal circuit problem.

I have a PHILIPS DVP3962. My DVD player used to play where I left off watching my DVDs, but recently, when I turn it off and turn it back on, it starts from the beginning of the DVD. Dose anybody know why...

Resume function is wiped from the player's memory buffer whenever the unit is switched to standby (either with the [POWER] button on the main unit, the remote or turned off at the wall), the disc is removed, or the [STOP] button is pressed twice (either on the front or via the remote).

(The simplest thing you can try is to insert a DVD, play a few minutes of its main title, press [STOP] once, not twice, leave it for 10 minutes, then press [PLAY] - it should resume, and thus continue your movie from where you left off)

Resume is considered 'temporary memory' in DVD devices, and therefore is not intended to store the playback point of the disc permanently whenever power is lost, [STOP] is pressed twice or discs are ejected.

However, this is relatively normal, and is not a fault, but it can be annoying to the user.

Panasonic dmres30v unable to open dvd drawer led displaying u99 and cant remove

Press the power button on the main unit to switch the unit to standby. When the unit is in standby , press the power button again on the main unit to turn it on. If the unit doesn’t switch to standby, press and hold the power button on the main unit for about 10 seconds to forcibly switch it to standby.

To open the drawer, press and hold STOP and CH UP buttons on the main unit at the same time for about 5 seconds.
