Fuji finepix 2650 is NOT

fuji finepix 2650 is NOT fine. computer using XP has orig. fuji's CD software install, removed, reinstalled, etc numerous times. someone on a user grp even suggested removing fuji software & letting xp detect the correct s/w & drivers [it doesn't].

I have pictures taken that appear in the camera's lcd screen upon playback. I just cannot get the pc to acknowledge the camera in any way. Even w/fuji's own viewer s/w installed the "automatic" transfer feature DOES NOT WORK.

right now there are no words to describe how frustrated I am with this camera, the Fuji corp. & digital cameras in general . Please help!
