I have a flashing red light where the white light should apper

it might be your power cord, if the battery is empty and your powercord no longer working, the light will flash red to indicate it has not enough power to turn on. Try a different powercord for the same model, or have your current one tested at an electronics store.

Installing Windows from flash drive-part I

I talked in a past “tips & tricks” about “How to quickly reinstall your operatingsystem”. I told you there about the time of the reinstallation. Now I bringyou a even quicker method. But. Of course there is a “but” here. The catch isabout the flash drive (pen drive, stick, USB flash, etc.), or should I sayabout the transfer speed and the capacity of the flash drive.
OK. The next question is: Why do I need a bootable stick? Here are some possible answers:
· You just bought an Acer Aspire One, or ToshibaNB200, or Asus EEE PC that hasn’t got any optical drive
· You do not have a optical drive on your computeror the one you have is broken
· Or you want to have a complete arsenal ofsoftware.
For making the bootable stick you will need thefollowing:
· A computer with Windows XP or Vista installed (Ihaven’t tested on Windows 7 yet)
· The installation CD of Windows (insert it intoyour optical drive and leave it there for the whole process)
· An USB flash. Preferably of 2-4 GB (depends on which version ofWindows you want to put) and with a high transfer rate.
· Download the following software:
Bootsect: http://storage0.dms.go4it.ro/media/2/84/1999/3124245/5/bootsect.zip
PeToUSB: http://storage0.dms.go4it.ro/media/2/84/1999/3124245/6/petousb-3-0-0-7.zip
USBPrep8: http://storage0.dms.go4it.ro/media/2/84/1999/3124245/7/usb_prep8.zip

Check Part II for the next steps. Because of the length issues I had to write a second tip

White knight dishwasher flashing red light and. Won't. Empty .
could be something in drain pump need to bail the water out of dishwasher best way is a small scoop take filter out and you can get to the lowest point of sump. Take water out and use sponge for the dregs . Un plug appliance and turn water off remove inlet hose and waste pipe. Lay the appliance on its back and remove the base of the appliance you will then see the drain pump remove 3 screw and gently remove pump head and remove object but watch finger if it's a shard of glass .

Best setting for indoor

There are three possible solutions for you:

1. Just use the Daylight (direct sun) white balance setting. Electronic flash is typically close to the direct sunlight setting for white balance. Advantages: it is simple. Disadvantages: if you are balancing electronic flash with ambient light, you are likely to have an odd mixture of lighting, with the ambient lighting tending toward red (if incandescent) or green (if flourescent).

2. Get a Wratten 85 color correction gel that you can cover your flash's head with, and use the Tungsten white balance setting. This will bring your flash output into line with existing incandescent light sources. Advantages: almost as simple as (1), and allows you to come close to matching a common indoor lighting situation. This will produce more natural-looking environmental shots if you balance the flash and incandescent ambient light contributions to the exposure. Disadvantages: large gel filters get expensive. You may be able to obtain something close to the Wratten 85 color correction filter from a theater supply house more cheaply. Roscolux #3408 is slightly weaker and #3411 is slightly stronger than the Wratten 85. If you have to balance flash with flourescent light sources, try a Roscolux in the cyan series leading to #4360. Some experimentation is likely to be required. The place I looked online offered the Roscolux in 20x24" sheets for about $7 per sheet, a bargain compared to the optical-grade Wratten filters.

3. Set a custom white balance. This is not too difficult, and it will definitely provide the best approximation to your desired white balance that you will obtain in the field. Advantages: this will allow you to reproduce white accurately even with mixed lighting sources. Combine with gel over flash of (2) for the very best approach to balanced flash/incandescent lighting situations. Disadvantages: requires a "white" target (can be a neutral gray photo card, for example) and some additional time before a photo session.

You can obtain some striking effects by purposely mixing color temperature light sources. But day in and day out, getting a balanced shot is a skill that it pays to cultivate.

Sony tv flashing light 5 times

5 flashes indicates a "white balance failure" - This could be due to a faulty CRT drive IC, or possibly a vidoe out IC going bad.

Flash drive failure

You need to format your drives. Even though you delete files on them a small amount of data remains each time. After so long the data builds up and clogs the drive.

Insert a USB with a problem
Go applications, Disk utility
open disk utility, then you should see the USB disk in the utility screen. click on then click format. It will kill all data on the USB and make it usable again.

Flash drive storage

Re-format it from Windows.
Go to my computer.
You will see all disks including removable flash drive.
Click right button on flash drive icon.
A menu will drop down chose format option.
Do not do fast format , chose a complete format.
If you cannot solve the problem in this way then the flash drive is either .
Some Chinese export companies are selling corrupt or counterfeit flash drives of 4, and 8 Gigs, they lose FAT integrity after a while, and when re-formated won't work properly or will work only for a while.
In this case return item to retailer.
