Wireless Setup on Averatec Buddy

I turned the wireless on on my Averatec Buddy but I can't get it to connect to the internet. I have been trying for about 2 hrs now doing different things but can't seem to get it to work.

The Buddy is only 1/2 of the connection. What are you using as a connection point? Coffee shop? Wireless router?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

if you were to go to manage wireless networks, remove the network you are trying to connect to. then go to available networks and try to connect again. it should ask you for the wireless password now

Averatec buddy cant find wireless connections!?

Hi,
As far as i know the it's a keyboard toggle, hold down Fn and hit the F11 key.
Remember to update the driver once connected.

WIRELESS CONNECTION PROBLEM

Have you configured your wireless adapter with same WPA key that you had set on the wireless router?
Do you detect other Wireless routers in your area and are they using the same wireless channel as your router?
If so change the wireless channel on your wireless to an unused wireless channel to avoid interference with other wireless routers.

Try Fn+F11. It worked for my friend who had the same problem on an Averatec n1000.

The signal may be getting interference, try restarting the router. If this does not work, you may be out of luck.
