Question about Creative Labs Zen Touch MP3 Player
I CANNOT PUT A SONG BECAUSE I HAVE NO INSTALLATION CD

How old is it? Does it light up at all or is it totally black? If the unit powers on and still plays music but the screen is black then it is just the screen. Plug it in to the computer and see if it is recognised. If it is see if you can look at the contents If you can't then either the battery is bad and it won't power up anymore or the unit itself is dead. Creative has had issues with their screens for a long time. I had a Zen Xtra 30GB that had screen issues after 1 year or so. They wanted too much to fix it so I put it away for a couple weeks. For some reason I decided to check it again and it started working again on its own. It also developed issues with holding a charge, and replacing the battery didn't help. In the end I replaced it with an iPod. Creative makes great products, but their warranty and support policy has become horrendous over recent years. They warranty their products for 90 days now, as opposed to the 1 year they used to have and when you have to RMA an out of warranty product they charge more than it is worth to fix.
One repair option is to look on Craigslist for a used one that may have a bad hard drive and use the parts from that to bring it back from the dead. They are fairly simple to work on.
Cheers and good luck.
