Question about Xerox CopyCentre C123 Copier

Copying with a copycentre 255

How do you make book type pages and how do you copy onto card stock paper?
I would like to know where I can find a manual for this machine so that I can learn how to do the things I need to do, instead of by trial and error.

Go to www.xerox.com , on the home page click Support and Drivers.
IN the search where it asks for a product name or number type in 255.
Then select the Copycenter 255 Documentation.
Then select either the QUick reference guide, which is most likely all you need. or download the training and information program.

My CP2025 HP Printer toner is smearing on cardstock when I run multiple copies, but I can't figure out how to change the options for heavier paper. Where do I find it?

The easiest way to set the paper types, if you are connected via network is to access the embedded web server of the printer. simply type the IP (network address) of the printer into the address bar of your browser and a page will open that controls all functions of the printer. Setup you paper types as required. I would suggest that you feed the heavy stock through the manual tray not the standard paper tray.

Flaherty@nbhealth.org I am trying to print on 110 lb cardstock and It keeps geeting stuck. I can't seem to find where I should change the paper type. Please advise.

Use the hand feed tray on the right side. When you put paper in this tray it usually will ask you to set the paper type. 110 lb. card stock is EXTREMELY difficult to copy onto. It might be better to bring this particular job to a copy center. This type of stock will put serious wear on your machines drum. Drums cost big money. Good luck.

Just wondering if i can copy an image onto cardboard i.e. how thick can the cardboard be?

If by cardboard you mean like cardboard box cardboard then no that is way too thick. Most copiers will only handle card stock up to around 100lb. Basic copy paper is 20lb. So this should give you an idea of what your limitation is on paper weight. Also keep in mind that heavier stock paper must be run thru the bypass feed on the copier and should NOT be run out of the normal paper trays.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Copy the new maps onto the SD card be sure that the card has enough space on it. ( you might need a SD Card reader ) copy the old maps onto your PC before deleting the SD card, copy all the data into the root folder of your sat nav. hope this helps

Xerox copycentre c20 paper jam in 2 how do i get it out please

Unplug the machine, open the right door. Get a phillips screwdriver.
Look on the upper portion of the paper path, you will see an assembly with yellow waning stickers that say HOT. There are 4 silver screws on that fuser assembly. Remove those screws, and unplug the white connector. Pull back toward yourself to remove the fuser.
Lay it down and remove 2 silver phillips screws , it will open up and you can remove the paper. Make sure the machine has been off for a half an hour or so, It is hot. Take a good look at the black aluminum coated roller on top. See if it looks smooth and clean, If it has a lot of toner built up on it, you will have to repalce the fuser or it will continue to jam and give you ghost ( light reprinted) images up and down your page.
Also the M20 does not handle large black ares on a page such as a picture or magasing cover being copied. Largs solid areas tend to stick to that heat roller. If you do copy a photo, try and allow about 2 inches on the top of white. Just move your original down on the glass about 2 inches from the edge. 2 inches to tie right of the edge of the glass.

HP C4280 incorrect paper feed

Check your printer's capability.

Buy the card stock they recommend.

If all else fails, print on plain and take card stock to a copy shop and have them do it for you.

Walking there beats going nuts over stupid software or hardware problems
