Checked the well pump and its working also reset the house breaker and still no power on one side of the house

Check both sides of main breaker, if no power on line side, call power Co. If no power on load side it's the breaker. Call power Co they should check it for free

Relay seems to be getting power ( it's clicking) there is NO FUSE OR FUSABLE LINK. Wire straight from relay has no power. Add power to it and still get none from the other end.

A couple of things: Relays have a power side, and a coil side which signals the relay on. Your coil side is working, hence the click, which should close contacts on the power side, and send power out from the relay.

Just possible your relay is bad on the power side. Swap it with another relay to check. The exact same relay may have other applications on your car. If the relay's part numbers match, it is the same relay.

The other possibility is the power feed for the relay may have been lost. Usually the power side, the power feed terminal, is hot at all times- battery voltage available at the relay-just waiting to be sent to do work. And if it is "hot at all times", that means the power feed is fed from a maxifuse or a fusible link. Power from the battery would not be sent there without a fuse or fuse link for protection.

If you have a test light or voltmeter, try this: pull the relay out, key off, and probe all 4 or 5 terminals of the relay plug terminals. If "hot at all times", one terminal should show power on it. If it is a hot at all times terminal, your relay is definitely bad if you find power there. Now some circuits with a relay, like some starter relays, do not have a hot at all times power feed- only when key is on, or when relay is signaled, does the power feed show up. To check this, turn the key to on, or to start if a starter relay, and now check all relay terminals with the test light. This time you should show two hot terminals- the power side feed and the coil side (the relay signal side) should both have power on them. If you only see the coil side power that made the click, then you have to check the wiring to that relay. Good luck.

I read that cooling fan relay (high & low) should have power to two leads in plug. Is this true? 1996 Escort fan wont run (no power)

Most relays have to sides a low side or coil side and a high side which is the latching side. The low side receives power from it source and when grounded it creates an electromagnetic field which pulls on the switch to latch it on and allow power to go fom the power source to the load being powered.

Why doesn't my 2000 chevy blazer power windows and door locks and remote mirror doesnt work. Power window on passenger side does work

well, the first thing is to check the fuses and or relay for power windows.should be listed in your owners manual. if ok, then remove switch from drivers side window and check for power. if power to the switch then use a jumper wire from power side to motor side of switch. if window works then its the switch causing the problem. Good-day!

I'm not getting power to the fuel pump,it is a 2002 blazer 2 door, the only way I get any power to it is if I manually touch the points together in the fuel relay switch other wise nothing, do you ha ve...

If by manually touching the relay points give you power to the fuel pump , i would assume that your relay is bad on the power side.

try to exchange the relay with one other of your fuse box . If it works fine with other relay change the relay and you'll be on your way.

Just for you to know!!!

Here is how a relay works you have a driving side and a power side . the driving side is in fact an electrically operated switch that when current is apply closes the switch that is on the power side.

Test your relay by asking somebody to put one finger on the fuel pump relay. when you have power on and of on the driving side of the relay, the other person will sence that the relay is clicking . if it desn't change the relay cause it's burnt on the driving side. if it does and you don't have power to your fuel pump chnage the relay cause it's burnt on the power side.

How can you tell if relays in fuse panel are good

They can be tested if pulled out. Know how a relay works? Relays have a power side and a coil side. When the coil side is energized from voltage applied to it, the electrical contacts on the power side close allowing power to pass through the relay from the power feed supply on to the part the relay controls.

To test one, you use jumper wires from the battery to the coil side. Usually will hear a click-showing the power side contacts did close. The relay will have a small diagram etched into it, showing which two or more terminals are for the coil side, and which other terminals are the power side. If more than four terminals, the diagram will show how all are tied into the relay. Jumper a positive wire to the coil side input terminal, and a negative to the coil output terminal. If you have a multi meter, check that the power side terminals show continuity when coil side is jumped. It should have continuity-relay is good. If no multi meter, but you can hear or feel a click when testing-probably good.
That's the only way to test relays. Another solution if you suspect a bad relay is to swap in a known good relay. When the relay is pulled out, a good idea to check if the power feed for the relay is present. Use a test light grounded to a screw or metal bracket, and probe all the terminals that relay plugs in to. One terminal should have power lighting the test light, verifying power feed is good. Most, if not all relays, have a power source that is hot at all times, but if you find no power on any terminal, turn the key to on and check again-that relay may only have power available when key is in on or run.
Good luck.

are you checking power with fuse in and to one side of the fuse or to both sides if to one side you will have power if to both side you shouldn't have power your fuse is blown. Your fuse is there to protect the device and wiring from burning up fuse blows cuts power off
