Question about Toshiba CZ36T31 36" TV
A Toshiba 289X6M 29" CRT TV has no power and cannot be turned on. I found a blown T3.15A/250V fuse. What could be the cause of it? After I replaced the blown fuse, it blew again every time a short while after I turned on the TV. Could you tell me how can I fix the problem?
If this is a crt type, it could be a loose connection. Check its RGB board usually located at the backend of the crt tube. Dust, cobweb, carbon built up might be the one causing it.

SOURCE: TV blew fuse. Replaced with
replacing the fuses with random values is prolly not a good thing...but one thing to check is a big transistor know as the HOT. This will more than likely be clipped or screwed to a heat sink NEAR the flyback (big transformer, has a wire going into the big glass tube). That causes fuses to blow...If this does not work, let me know.
