Is it the glasstop range with the oven control panel in the front? if so one of your over temperature thermostats is faulty.. it is probably causing an f-1 error.OR.. your temperature probe in the oven could be going bad.

How do I reset on a F2 ?

Does it just say "F2", or "F2 E1" or "F2 E6" or some other "F2 - Ex" error code? On KitchenAid wall ovens, I would frequently encounter an F2-E6 error, and when you would press the Bake key, it would beep out a "morse-code" message (beep beeeeeeep beep beep beep). And in that case, you would have to replace the electronic oven control.

I have a scratch on the top of my ceramic stovetop. How can I repair it?

Instructions for repairing scratches on ceramic cooktop
Things You'll Need:
  • Nonabrasive cleaner

  • Cloth
  • Razor scraper
  • Ceramic crème
  • Sponge or cloth(s)
  1. 1 Clean the cooktop with a nonabrasive cleaner, such as a glass cleaner or warm water mixed with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Wipe with a clean, soft cloth.

Model KEDT105V F-2 and F-3 flashing and beeping then turn the oven off? MOlson

Hi

The error code F-2 means that oven temp is too high; you need to :
1. Test operation of door lock on self-clean models
2. Test relay contact operation
3. High resistance in oven temperature sensor
Error F-3 means you need to open oven temperature sensor/thermal fuse and replace oven temperature sensor/thermal fuse.

Please revert for any further assistance and Do rate this solution as "FixYa" if found useful.

I have a KGST300 gas freestanding range. I tried to run self clean, but immediately after starting I canceled, as I forgot to remove the oven racks. The process stopped, and the door unlatched, but I...

By the way the door lock error will stay there until the oven cools. Once it has cooled it will go away. the reason is in a self clean the oven is supposed to get very hot to clean. The door lock is for your protection. once it has cooled down enough the door lock will go away.

Latch not locking when selecting self cleaning

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

OVEN will not heat

KitchenAid KEBC107KSS does not heat hot enough and does not heat evenly. When the temperature is dialed higher, it burns the cookies. When the convection fan is on, it has a 'cooling effect' so the temperature never reaches the proper level. Is this problem repairable? Or is this a thermostat issue? Thank you for your help!

Whilrpool Self Cleaning Range Door won't unlock

try this 1. Verify error code by pressing and holding CANCEL/OFF key for 5 seconds.
Momentarily (less than 5 sec.) press CANCEL key again to remove error code
display.
2. Press and hold any key for 1 minute until F2 E0 code is displayed.
3. Cancel F2 E0 error code.
4. Program and start the clean mode. Observe to see if door locks. If it does not,
inspect the locking mechanism from the solenoid to the latch pawl and door to
find the cause of the problem. If the door is not locking, then 1 minute from the
start of clean, the F5 E1 code will again be displayed. Steps 1 through 3 will
have to be repeated before another clean can be started.
5. Once any mechanical problems with the latch mechanism have been corrected,
program and start a clean cycle (after, if necessary, clearing F5 E1 error code)
to ensure proper operation of the door lock. Immediately cancel the clean mode to observe proper operation of door unlock
