u could just try using system restore

The file system on the hard disk is corrupted. The only thing you can do is to reinstall Windows, and during the process select the full format, not the quick one.

You know how to get to the safe mode option. Well get to that screen and try last known good configuration. What this does it takes restores everything up to where you last logged on your computer successfully. If that doesn't work run the windows disk, delete the partition and start fresh. If that is a no go you have a hardware problem most likely.
