Technically challenged...need DVD to show on TV screen

hey 1st of all you gotta make sure that your son made tha right connections with the av cable (this is the cable with three different coloured pins) from your DVD to your tv. if this doesnt solve your problem then make sure you are using the correct av channel on your tv set that will allow you 2 play your DVD player because sometimes you cant play your DVD on thhe same av cannel you watch normal tv

The DVD player is hooked up like the old VCR players.
You need to turn on the DVD player first then the TV and then select the AV input that is connected to the DVD player (could be AV1 or AV2 depending how may AV inputs that are on your TV)
If it is not hooked into an AV input, it could be hooked into a higher quality input called HDMI, try this input (could have more than one HDMI input).
Once you connect the DVD player into the correct input, you will see a DVD logo of the DVD model/manufacturer.
Insert a DVD into the player and use the DVD remote to select the options and play the DVD.
Have fun and be mean, hog the TV/DVD so your son can't get access to it and make him buy his own TV/DVD.
