One of the wires from the stylus had a poor connection through the pin connector.
I recrimped the pin lug reconnected and all is now working as it should.

I gather you don't know how to adjust the tonearm. First put the stylus pressure, and antiskating to zero. Balance the tonearm for a free floating position. Ortofon cartridges will list the stylus pressure, generally 1.5 grams. Dial in the correct pressure, and set the antiskating to the same as the stylus pressure. Could be, but check the wiring to the cartridge, plus the connection to your amp. A poor earth wire or one touching the other can make it sound tinny.

Concorde Ortofon Electro Stylus not getting a stereo signal

Soak a q-tip with rubbing alcohol and stick it into the contact area of your tonearms. Rub the contacts thoroughly. The contacts themselves are spring loaded, so make sure all four are all the way out for full contact. Clean the stylus connections with alcohol as well, and you should be good to go. I also use Ortofon Concorde stylii on my 1200s and have never had a problem.

Pioneer pl-200 turntable one channel is dull and muffled

I think we need to do more diagnosis. Did you try swapping the channel cables Left-to-Right so you're sure it is in the TT and not in your Phono preamp?
If it's still in the TT and always on the same channel with two different cartridges you probably have a wire problem in the tonearm/shell or interface between them.

What is tracking force and arm weight for Dual 505-2 deck?

http://ortofon.de/ should give you the weight. It should also give you the range of tracking force. To get the right weight you can use a stylus balance. The electronic ones are expensive but good. The mechanical ones are not great but better than nothing. I set my turntable up with an Ortofon-branded mechanical balance for weight, and a test record for tracking force.

Needle replacement...missing part?

To replace the stylus (N-6516 from your Sony dealer)

1.Turn off the amplifier
2. Protect the stylus with the stylus cover (it flips down 90 degrees)
3. Grasp the stylus holder (exposed when cover was flipped down) and pull it away from the cartridge body
4. Insert the stylus by pushing it in to the cartridge receptacle. Flip the stylus protector up.

Turntable skips during playback

The only thing I can say is to make sure you set up your cartridges correctly - click HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS on BALANCING YOUR TONEARM properly.

If, you've balanced your tonearm, and set up your cartridges correctly, then you should not have any problems. Unless, your tonearms are damaged. But this is highly unlikely. I just think you need to balance properly.

Another note, Ortofon Concorde have a design flaw, in that they don't connect very well to the Technics tonearm. The Concorde's, have short and stubby connections on the rear, making for poor connections to the tonearm. Ortofon has addressed this issue by releasing the Ortofon OM series cartridges, and mount them to standard Technics Headshell.

If you still can't figure this out, feel free to give our techs a call 24/7 @ 1.866.668.1596 ext 1 - they can walk you through setting up, and properly testing your tonearm to see if it's damaged or not.
