Problem for Motorola RAZR V3

Voicemail icon won't go away

The voicemail icon (little blue envelope with the sounds waves coming out of it) will not go away, even though I do not have any new voicemails. I don't even have any old voicemails saved to my phone. I have tried turning off my phone, but it still appears when I turn it back on. Help please, it's really bugging me.

hai...
go to settings/intial setup/master reset/it ask security code type 000000 , it will get cleared

that is not a voicemail, it is a text message with a sound atached to it
