Question about Dell UltraSharp 1800FP 18.1" LCD Flat Panel Monitor
My monitor was working fine had no problems then one day it just quit working gets no power to it. I changed the power cord but that does not work either. I press the power button and the green light that shows it is on does not turn on at all. I have never messed with repairing a monitor before so not to sure what to check or change on it. Would you have any ideas and if it would be worth trying to fix it as opposed to buying a new one. Thanks for any help you could give me.
Check the main board from which your monitor gets its main power from to see if it is working or supplying the required power needed by your monitor to work.
if it is not working or supplying the required power, get a new one and try again.
after this procedure and your problem still continues,if you can afford,i will advise you to get a new monitor rather than repairing the old one since the old one if not properly repaired will give you more problems in the near future which will cost money you to repair
thank you for contacting us with your problems you are always welcomed
