its a 14 year old game (no spring chicken here)
if on CD and the CD fails, the CD can be bad, scratches.
or CD drive in your unstated PC is bad.
or you didnt install this relic software using compatibility mode

on the CD
go to it with explorer
right click the CDs install file
click properties and tab compatible and pick XP SP3 (check box)

You must be using Android, if that is the case, then just open PlayStore, then tap at the top left to open another windows and choose Apps or My Apps, here is a list of all of your apps. One tab is for installed apps, the other on is for all apps, installed or not. You can tap the search icon at the top and write the apps game that you want to recover, tap install.
If you have an iPad, or any Apple device, open AppStore, look for the Purchase section, search by scrolling down for the game that you want to recover, just tap Get and it will re-install.

2. Click on "Require authentication for purchases"
3. Check " For all purchases through Google Play on this device"
4. Make sure your grand daughter doesn't know your google account password.

Usually if you go online to the manufacturers web site, they will have a downloadable version of the software and you can probably purchase it too. If having problems with the site, just call the manufacturers Customer Service Number and they can get you the software. You might be able to source it on Ebay also. Good Luck

windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft so there may be conflicts between the systems
put the disc for the game in a cd and go to computer and run the disc from the cd icon

I assume you are running Vista so try running the setup.exe or install.msi or whatever as administrator. if that doesn't work upgrade the VGA card. yours is integrated which is not good for gaming. puts stress on cpu and steals ram

no there is no other way out of it
