Question about Toshiba Gigabeat MEGF40S MP3 Player
This unit is approx. 2 years old, and with the exception of battery draining while not in use, it has worked well until now.
When connecting to the PC for synchronization, the Gigabeat hangs during initialization, and it's necessary to cycle the battery switch (initiating a re-boot) to get it operating again.
Operation is otherwise OK, but the PC indicates a "defective device".
There's been no change to the operating system or media software, both of which were previously compatible.
Any helpful advice will be truly appreciated.
