Same problem. While waiting for feedback from their support, after trying everything I could think of with no result, in frustration I just shut it down and turned off the power to everything since I couldn't turn the monitor off. Left it overnight and this morning when I rebooted it now works so it must reset itself. Good luck

How/ where to find the adjustment for the brughtness - SharpLLT15G4

Normally the brightness can be controlled by one of the little buttons either on the bottom or on the right side of the monitor.
There will be an icon that looks like the sun to indicate which button will control brightness.
It could also be adjusted by pushing the button that brings up the menu. To scroll through the menu, you'd use the up or down (or left and right) buttons that should be located next to the menu button.

I have a old CRT Proview monitor. It has developed a problem of exceeding display sidways, means the display from left and right side of screen goes beyond, I have adjust manually left and right to view...

Well, if the adjustment buttons don't work, then probably the control unit in the monitor is broken, or a key is stuck. If the control unit needs servicing, I doubt if it's feasible to have it repaired, given the fact that it's an old monitor and new or used nice slim LCD monitors can be purchased cheaply nowadays.

I was dusting my acer monitor and microsoft wireless keyboard and i must have hit something because now my monitor is reading sideways and the mouse wont work with it either. Can you tell me what I need to...

Sounds like you changed the orientation of your display settings from landscape to portrait.
In Windows 7 you can go to the control panel, choose display and click "Change Display Settings" on the left side.

From there choose the "Orientation" dropdown and change to your desired setting (most likely landscape)

Good luck

How do you ajiust the brightness

There should be several buttons on the bottom-right-hand side of the monitor that controls several different functions. One of the buttons should open a menu that you can navigate through using the monitors buttons, and should allow you to adjust your monitors brightness.

Need to adjust the contrast/brightness on my new monitor.

There should be buttons either on the right side or bottom or face of the monitor that control these functions. One will most likely be a menu button and two more to the right of the menu button will move you around within each menu option.

Hp Compaq FS7600 17" monitor screen adjustment needed

Um, lets see. Does any of the buttons work? Try and find a button that will switch settings back to factory default. If not go to control panel and change the screen resolution to see if that helps in the mean time.

Screen display

You have control buttons for the OSD either on the bottom or the side of your monitor.

Push and enter the set up and push buttons until you see the arrows that move the screen up or down, right or left.

Your model may have one of the buttons marked automatic. If so, pressing that one will center the display on your monitor.
