Question about Car Speakers & Subwoofers

I have a Goodmans 6 disc autochanger built in to my Range Rover Vogue which was installed at manufacture. It was working ok until the disc holder was taken out of the unit recently to play alternative cd's. Now for some reason, it will not acknowledge that there are any cd's loaded, hence it will not play at all. I have taken the holder back out to make sure that the discs are the correct way up, which they are and even inserted other discs but it still fails to operate. Any ideas?

I have a 6 disc Goodmans autochange built in to my Range Rover Vogue which was put in at manufacturer. It was working ok until we ejected the disc cartridge to change to other discs but now it will not acknowledge that there are any discs loaded, so hence it fails to play. I have checked the obvious things like making sure that the discs are up the correct way but still it does not work. I have had the vehicle for 12 months and it is 6 years old. Any ideas?

I have a 'Eurovox' car radio/cassette with 'Land Rover' on the front, but the two plugs do not match up with my Range Rover. So I would like to know how to, (after removing the plugs), wire it in. These...

If you leave the original plugs connected to the radio unit you will be able to get an adapter from a motor store. In the UK Halfords keep most types, in the US I don't know what similar stores you have but i would imagine Radio Shack or similar will keep the type you need. Take the radio unit with you so they can see the connectors on the unit - they will probablky be ISO fittings and then they will be able to advise the Range Rover fitting.

If they do not have a suitable adaptor, ask them to identifiy the connectors on the radio unit (DIN, ISO etc) and then ask your local Landrover/Range Rover dealer if they can supply an adaptor for you.

Hope this clears your problem, please mark the post as Fixya.

Fiona@jossi have a mazda 3mps with 6 disc changer 3 of the discs wont eject and it keeps saying check cd. discs wont play either. can anyone help please!!!

sounds like you are using discs you have burnt yourself

these discs are thicker than the ones you get in stores and frquently get stuck and dont work in units not built to handle these discs

it is very hard to get out without removing unit and opening it

you might be able to carefully grab or hook disc if it partially ejects but you risk damaging disc or unit you might need to bring it to repair shop

good luck

Hi have a rover 75 reg on 04 plate with flip front for cd disc need radio code and how to get radio to work

Unfortunately the code for your radio will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original Rover factory database which is not commercially available.

Will only be available from your Rover Dealer or by using a Radio decoding Service.....Sorry !

Just replaced the battery in my 97 range rover and the stereo says "CODE" how or where do i get the code, considering i bought it used and dont have it?

If it's the factory radio, go to your local Range Rover dealership
service center. They will probably charge it, there's just no other option. If it's an aftermarket unit, you would just need to find a local car audio shop that sells the brand. Hope this helps

My 05 g35c 6 disc cd player don't work. Screen show push eject but when I push eject, nothing happens. Can any one tell me what I can do.

verify that the cd holder is in correctly, being put in incorrectly would probably cause a jam not letting it read or eject, also see if when you push the button, listen really close, and hear if it makes a noise, like little motors or solenoids buzzing or whirring, that will tell you if the thing even still works

solved the problem after speaking to the main dealers, disconnected battery for fifteen minutes then reconnected which rebooted system. Range rover say just like your home computer its got glitches so rebooting works, common problem in cold weather.
