Hola Ezra, por la falla que describes, puedes tener un problema en los conectores Main Insert , mas presisamente en el Izquierdo, este conector tiene la funcion de intercalar algun tipo de procesador en la etapas de los master L y R, y cuenta conunos contactos internos que se ensucian y producen falso contacto en el paso de la se?al de salida
Prueba limpiarlo con algun limpiador de contacto, pon poca cantidad de limpiador y con la ayuda de un plug ve colocandolo y sacandolo repetidas veces a los efectosn de que el limpiador actue, haz lo mismo con el canal derecho, porque ya le aparecera la misma falla, en algun momento
Si esto no da resultado, aparentemente tendrias problemas con el potenciometro atenuador master Izquierdo on el circuito electrico correspondiente

You probably need to "map" the ones that aren't working into the appropriate codes to trigger the SR-18 sounds.

You need to COMPARE the codes sent from the DTX to those needed by the SR-18.

There also may be options in the DTX for type of drum kit such as "Latin" and selecting one of those may have the mapping already done.

In the literature of each device will be a list of the MIDI codes the DTX generates and those required by the SR-18.

essentially the percussion codes are NOT standardized completely between devices... but there is usually a way to "map" them to make it work.

I downloaded the DTX manual and there IS a contrast control on the back of the unit near the top left facing the back...
IT MAY require a screwdriver to adjust it.

If you have a sampler, you could midi out of the DTX brain into the midi in of the sampler to trigger the sounds. If not ,try downloading KORE2 from Native Instruments onto your computer and triggering it using the above mentioned method . Midi out from your brain to Midi in on your computer. Hope this helps.
