I was given a refurbished Sansa c250. I have no manual. Have followed all the seemingly logical steps to download music onto the mp3 player. When it is connected to my computer, the files I have downloaded are listed. However when the device is not plugged into the computer, only a handful of songs are listed and available. I have formated all files to mp3...I'm not sure what I'm missing in the process. Has someone dealt with this problem before? Is there a manual online I cam read through (I've looked and keep finding help sites)?
If you are certain that all of the files are in mp3 format, then your best bet would be to change the USB Mode of the player - if it is in MSC Mode, chnge it to MTP Mode and vice versa - instructions for doing this are in the manual.

I have just encountered a problem with downloading talking books onto my MP3 player. Everything has been fine for about 2 years, but suddenly when I go to listen to my book,it has downloaded part 1, then skips to part 10 to 19, then to part 2, then 20-24 (or whatever) and then to 3 - 9. I tried advance tag editor in Windows Media Player & numbering 01, 02 etc, but this doesn't seem to have solved it. Any advice would be appreciated.
