How did you delete the Photos? from within iPhoto or otherwise?
Have you had any other problems besides iPhoto?

I think you might need to reinstall iPhoto (  You should back up your computer, including any photos, before doing this.

I cannot open iPhoto on my MacBook, missing python framework. Will allow remote access using TeamViewer for help.

It looks like your version of iPhoto may not be compatible with OSX 10.9.5.

Can you check which version of iPhoto you have installed... go to Applications, select the iPhoto icon, press the "command" and "i" key at the same time, and see what it says under 'version'...

I would suggest launching the App Store application and checking for any updates, especially anything to do with iPhoto.

If you've updated iPhoto but the library is an older version, then this may help:

My iphoto will not open

This is likely a file problem. Either the finder cannot find the app any longer or it is corrupted, or the permissions have been changed. The last is most likely. Try running the Disk Utility program and under the First Aid tab select Repair Disk Permissions and run the program.
This should clean up a permissions type of problem. If it does not, you may have to delete the iPhoto program and reinstall it. Be careful to save your pictures first to another area on you hard drive, so they do not get deleted.

Does my Maxtor back up my iphotos?

Run a time machine backup. Then the easiest way would be to find a photo that you are willing to delete in iPhoto.

Jot down the name of the photo file, delete it. Then empty the trash.

Then go into time machine, try to search for that file, when you locate it, restore it. If you can then there is probably a good chance that you time machine backup is good.

To be on the safe side why not create a manual backup.

You'll find the iPhoto Library at:

"username" will be your name that appears when you login to the computer.

  1. To get there, double-click the icon for your hard drive to open it, then double-click the Users folder. Double-click your Home folder, which is identified by a house icon and your username, and then double-click the Pictures folder to open it.
        1. Inside the Pictures folder you'll see a file called iPhoto Library. Copy the iPhoto Library file to a location other than your hard drive, such as your Maxtor external hard drive.

Everytime a friend on FB post any kind of pictures, these pictures immediately go to my "Photo's" section. How can I remove them????

It's possible that your friend at one time or another logged into their facebook account via your iPhoto application;

Open iPhoto, go to the Preferences (under the iPhoto menu at the top of the screen) and click the accounts icon to see if there are any associated facebook accounts.

If so, disable them!
