Question about Lite On LVW-1105HC DVD Recorder
No help from company, which charges $1.50 per minute. Recommended TDK discs but they failed, too.
Judging from product reviews it seems that this is a fairly unreliable unit. About the only thing you can do to possibly improve performance is to clean the laser lense. There are commercially available cleaners for CD/DVD players. The best way to clean the lense is to disassemble the unit and use a cotton swab with alcohol. This may be difficult for someone who doesn't have experience disassembling electronic devices.
