You need to install driver for it so
just go to manufacturer web site and download driver.
and its hard to say exact driver without knowing model of your devices.
thanks

Computer doesn't recon. wireless receiver.

Hello ceegold,

You can check if your wireless card is working fine or not by going to your device manager.

Click on the Start Menu, drag your mouse pointer to your My Computer icon & right click on it. Choose Properties & click on Device Manager.

Go to your Hardware tab & choose Network Adapter.

You should be able to find your wireless card, check if there's a red X mark or exclamation point.

If there's a red X mark, right click & choose enable, it may only be disabled.

If there's a yellow exclamation point, get the CD or DVD driver for your motherboard & update the driver.

Hope that helps.

Yours truly,

Keyboard not working

To connect the keyboard or mouse to the computer, you must connect the wireless device through the USB port and get it to hold a good connection. You do not have to install any devices to use these products, they automatically work when you plug them in. When it says that the device is recognized, you are ready to use it! If you have a desktop, you can also plug the wireless device to the mouse port. The keyboard and mouse work properly up to 5' away from the connected wireless device. If you can get the wireless device to work properly, you should have no troubles with the product.

Microsoft wireless optical desktop 2000 - keyboard and mouse

There are a number of things that may be causing your problem.

The first thing I would check would be the batteries, with these units having a wireless connection if the batteries become weak they will transmit a weaker signal and thus make it harder for the unit to read. Battery life is variable depending on how often you use your keyboard and mouse, and how far away from the transmitter the keyboard and mouse sit.

Also because the units are wireless there may be interference coming from other wireless devices in your household. Some possible guilty devices maybe cordless phones, Wifi adapters, and even some remotes.

Also Have you installed the intellitype and Intellipoint software for your Mouse & Keyboard. If so you can use it to check your battery life/ signal strenth and set you mouse sensitivity and type repeat rate.

On the bottom of your keyboard & Mouse and on the top of the wireless transponder there are reset buttons. Pushing the transponder 1st and then either or both the mouse and keyboards buttons should resysnc them without the need for a reboot.

Hope this helps

Logitech LX310 keyboard / mouse (wireless)

Firstly, try changing the batteries in the keyboard.

If still has issues, try moving the receiver to another area. Try to remove from other sources of interference such as Monitors, Speakers and Power Supplies.

If this doesn't work, try using a non-wireless mouse, and see if the keyboard still has issues.

If all this fails, then I would consider replacment.

Keyboard

I'm having the same problem. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to ideas - Mouse works great but the keyboard doesn't. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software at least twice via remote desktop- done a hard reboot on the hardware (it's a Logitec wireless keyboard) - I've even tried installing it on another computer and the keyboard and mouse both work great! I just can't get it to work on my computer. The curious thing is that the side buttons (like sleep work) but not Ctrl Alt or Del so I can't login - what am I doing wrong? Are there settings that need to be changed? It won't even recognize a standard (corded) keyboard
