Question about Sharper Image 1612911 MP3 Player
When I hook up the device, (Sharper Image mp3 model 1612911) to the computer with the USB cable and start a sync, it shows that it did the sync but the device has no songs on it. I have Windows Vista and my computer and I am using Windows Media player for the sync.
Hi klvogel1, I had the same problem, only I have Windows XP. Here's how I solved it. Connect you device to your computer, go to my computer and find the new device (should be under F drive) open the file and the open the" Audio" folder. This is the folder you will download to. Open your Windows Media Player then open your Music file, High lite any song or all songs, right click, and open up file location YOU CAN NOT SYNC TO THE DEVICE, you must copy and paste or cut and paste to the Audio folder of the device NOT THE MUSIC FOLDER. This will work, it took me since Dec 27 to get this answer. Hope it works for you

Thank you dijad1, your solution helped solve my problem, I suggest everyone to try his/her solution first before downloading a system to have you download the music to put it on your player. Thanks again dijad1

Download the songs from Limewire to the device. Go to My Computer have your disc in then go the the last disk it shoes click on it then when you see audio just drag the song from Limewire to it and wait 10 or 5 seconds per song
