Hi, Sorry, but that's not a Jenn Air model number. Jenn Air ovens have 9-digit model numbers, e.g. JJW2530WS. Please reply to this message with the correct full model number and I will provide a download link to your manual if one is available. Regards, BElectric.
This is a known issue. The model number is JJW9530C. I have been browsing the internet trying to find stronger hinges but with no luck. It seems there are a lot of unhappy Jenn air owners. You are correct in your assumption that the door is to heavy for the hinges. I will post the websites for your review
it is very simple if you look at the back of the oven there is part number and serial number yet there is the model number and you can search it on the internet i i changed mind simple but i change the window of the oven it had 4 screws and i took it out and in put in withen 20 mins . without the manual how ever if you still think cant do it look a the model of it and see what does it need to be removed you are smart good thinking changing by your self then sending to repaire and yet not alot of people will do what you do..
For Jenn-Air ranges, this is a fault code for a defective Electronic Range Control (ERC) and/or membrane (keypad). It is usually a bad membrane that causes this problem. If the membrane has a small ribbon cable connecting it to the ERC, you can sometimes disconnect it, clean the connections, and reinstall to correct the problem. The problem may also be as simple as a button on the keyboard stuck somewhere. Worst case scenario: you will have to replace the entire ERC and membrane altogether. For pricing information, you can find replacement parts at searspartsdirect.com or repairclinic.com. Just type in your model number in the search menu and there will be a parts index for you. The membrane and ERC are usually sold separately. I hope this helps you.
