Have a black square on one of my channels

It seems like when a sport invent is on that is when I get a black square on the middle of the screen

Turn the caption off on the remote

Closed caption function is ON with your TV. Make it OFF.

your closed caption is on, this might be set on the cable box or the tv, look in the audio or set menu. If you dont have the remotr you should be able to navigate the menu on the tv with the onset controls

Turn off your Closed Caption, it's in text mode.

look for a button on the remote that says " cc " your closed captioning is turned on, probably in the text mode. turn off the close captioning and your black box will disappear.

you have accendly turned on closed caption. the closed caption you have tured on is not the normal closed caption we are used to . it is called colsed caption text. either on your remote or in you manu, find the way to turn off cc & you should work ok. good luck.
