Question about Amana ASD2620HRW
Every 3 days I must remove the frozen multi-layered ice sheet or it drips
out the edge of my freezer onto the floor. a bag of frozen black-eyed peas opened and went every where in the middle area of my freezer side (side-by-side) ARD2620HRW. can you direct me how to check if
maybe the the grill covered area on the backside may have a clogged
water drain ? to a drain pan in the underside of my appliance.
Your drain is clogged. Remove the shelves and see if you can clear it with a stiff wire. It is located at the bottom rear. It may be frozen; in that case pouring very hot water or a using hair dryer (be careful not to melt anything!) should clear it enough to run a wire through it.

Thanks...
I'm working at defrosting the drain tube! and removing the cluster of beans that I've found. also the tube needs to be blown out.
Thanks again!

Found that there was an oblong catch-drain below the freeze coils,
it was clogged/dammed by the frozen blackeyed beans...cleared
them with a hand vac and turkey baster, then poored very hot water down the narrow oblong hole that in turn fed a lower hole into
the drain to the evaporation pan. Voila-it works now! thanks!
Thank You...
