They are green?!? usualy when people have problems with  the xbox 360 hardware, the lights turn red. This xbox 360 may have a birth defect... Best thing to do is call 1800-4my-xbox. Talk to a representative about sending your xbox in, ONLY if you have not voided the warranty. If so, you will most likely have to buy a new xbox or new motherboard for it.
Also try changing your video settings to tv instead of hd, or hd if it is plugged into a hd tv. You might have toggled the HD switch on the video/audio chords.

My ps3 won't turn on. I try to press the power button and it turns on for 2 seconds, followed by a yellow light where it's normally green and then beeps 3 times before flashing a red light.

Hi pinstripes61,

Sadly it sounds like your system is overheating and shutting down as a precaution. Make sure your system is getting as much ventilation as possible. If your system has been getting enough ventilation it would indicate that something is causing the cooling system of the console to malfunction. It's probably saveable but i would suggest you stop using it and contacting tech support immediately.

Sorry for the inconvinience,

My xbox 360 has a red ring around the power button.... how do i fix it????

If you are technically minded, this is very simple to fix, the hardest part is taking the consle apart.
there are many kits with self explanatory instruction available on the web, but try to find an all metal kit, ones with nylon washers only solve the problem in the short term.
once the case is opened, u need to remove the fan shroud and fan assembly, then remove the motherboard from the casing. turn the board upside down, and CAREFULLY!!! prise off the 2 silver x clamps from their locating lugs, the 2 processors/heatsinks can then be removed.
Clean all traces of thermal compound off the board and heatsinks using either white spirit or an alcho solution, if using w/spirit dry thoroughly.
apply new thermal compound, just enough to cover the processors on the board, and using the kit bought from ebay position the screws and washers and re-attach the heatsinks.
Now u need to plug the xbox into the mains, and attach the av cable, turn the xbox on, but dont reconnect the fans as u need the heatsinks to get hot and the console to overheat, this will take between 30 seconds to a coupe of mins, and when hot enough the console will show 2 red lights.... this is perfectly normal!!!!
once the 2 red lights appear, turn the console off by pullin the power cord out, do not use the on/off button. allow the console to cool for about half an hour. reassemble the xbox and hey presto u should now have green lights and the console fixed.

My xbox 360 has the green ring and it turns red and shuts me off the game what is wrong .

that is called the red ring of death which is basically the processors overheating, you can try purchasing an intercooler unit which connects to the back of the console and you connect your power supply to it that way you'll have a constant fan cooling your machine you can get one from game stop, walmart etc. for about $20 if the red ring stays on after that you would have to send in the console for repair microsoft generally charges around $140 360 pros charge about $90 and provide a 90 day warranty you can contact them at 800 618 7215 for more info. Hope this helps

hmmm.. The Ring of Death.

The 4 rings mean power faliure.
The 3 rings mean the CPU has been melted.
