Hello there.These i pods are noted for what they call freezing up.Theres no real fix for this problem.Sometimes if you put to much video in them they will do this more often and the only way to kind of prevent this is to charge battery fully before each use and sometimes one of the only ways to get it to go back to there main screen is letting in run completely dead then recharging it.Sometimes when I'm lucky with mine i'll hold down the play pause button and display will come back on..Hope this is helpful for you.Have a great day...
i have had a 2gb nano for 3 years, so i bought a 4 gb and cannot put my songs on it from computer and i can not afford to buy songs anyway i like olden songs as i have i my old nano if any one could help me thanks ps you dont get a cd with new ones these days thanks again
-Turn the hold switch on and then off.
-Hold down the menu and middle button until the Apple logo appears, usually about 6 to 10 seconds.
-If that doesn?t work repeat the process and you should be good to go.
-If that didn?t work try plugging you Nano into your computer using the USB cable
