As far as i know no their is generic ones you can buy from the store. or you could make your own find out how much power it takes to charge then find the usb tip it takes then get a power adapter and put the power adapter wireless on the power wires of the usb. then that should work.

You will need a mini usb charger. You may have one laying around the house if you have a modern phone.
You may also order one like this: http://www.gomadic.com/coby-mp610-car-charger-wall-essential-kit.html

Want to watch movies

Looks like it only plays .mtv files, so a converter may be needed before uploading video files to the 610.

Try these links for converters, info, etc.:

I have my coby MP 600 MP3 player, but one day i make a scan and after when i start it i can not acces with anything, it posts a message error: file system error. please help me to solve this problem. Thank...

It sounds like the Coby operating system is corrupted.

I'm going to recommend you try the following procedure with one catch; I'm assuming you can turn the unit on and at least get a menu. If not this procedure isn't going to work.

NOTE: The following procedure will erase everything on your Coby so be aware!

Essentially, we're going to reformat the unit using Coby's own format routine.

1. Power Unit On
2. Scroll through your main menu going to your right. From "Music" ---> to "Settings"
3. Under "Settings" you will have another menu. Look at the bottom choice called "Sys Tools"
4. Select "Sys Tools" and you will have a series of options, choose the second option "Format"
5. Select "Format" and follow the prompts
6. Wait for the routine to complete
7. Power unit down
8. Power unit back up and reconnect to PC
9. Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to see if the unit is recognized, and it should be at this point.
10. You should be set

For some reason, the operating system for the Coby gets corrupted and this is the only way I know to fix it short of sending the unit in for repair, which isn't an option really. (Cheaper to buy a new one)

Hope this helps you or anyone else that has unexplainable problems connecting to the Coby MP-610 / MP-620.

My Coby MP-610 won't open coby media manager.

1. Did your unit comes with Coby Media Manager? THere are two versions of this unit, one comes with and one doesnt. You can usually tell, if your unit came with an Installation CD, then it doesnt use Coby Media Manager

2. To access CMM - Start > My Computer> Double click the removable disk drive that looks like a 'C' with a big red circle, follow prompts to open Coby Media Manager.

3. IF you somehow formatted or deleted it, you can download a new copy from here:

Coby MP610-4G

You have to update the library from the music section. The files are in there, you can see them when you explore, but the thing needs to put them where they belong. When you push the Music button from the main menu, it asks if you want to update list. say yes, and it should now display all your songs, artists, genres.

How to download videos onto coby without software mp6104g

Hello,

For the MP610, use Coby Media Manager as the matching software, to get the fitting format for your player.

Coby Media Manager can be downloaded using next link:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=fix_mp822
Follow up the instructions for the download.
When running the manager in the top page setup your player
the MP610 AC or AL as your player: select Tools > Device Manager...
and Add>> yours.
Click on your player and go into Configure... to see the player's Synchronization setup and
Output file format: AMV for the AC and MTV for the AL version.

Use the Help function in the page top of Coby Media Manager for more

Can I use a wall charger on a COBY 705 4G?

Yes, However it will show up as a USB cable but hold the power switch and will begin to charge. You also can use the player while it charges that way!

Can I charge my Coby mp705 using a AC adapter?

Yes you can but you need to find a 3.7(whatever the voltage is) and the right size. Its risky. But at wal mart they sell this usb charger. U plug it in to the wall outlet and it would act like your computer usb slot.

Charging my mp-c582

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

When you connect the unit to the USB port on your computer, it will automatically begin charging. There are also universal wall chargers that can be purchased from Radio Shack.
If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!
