tryed all of that with no luck. contacted sony and they will fix it for a price( $97 ), out of warranty, but it only did this after i updated it from there site. guess fix price is better than buying a new one. My grandson is on this thing alot and ive invested alot in all the games for it. Guess its true that if it aint broke dont fix it!!! ill know better next time

Try and save you data onto the computer then reformat the memory stick. You will have to do this sometimes with the memory stick to "defrag" it. This should help.

I need to have version 6.10 for my psp but it is only version 3.5 a few days ago I purchased little big planet and downloaded it to my psp but now I cannot play because I don't have the right version...

Calm down it is simple. If you have intermet on your psp, then go to system update. Select update by internet. If you don't have wireless, then you have two options from here
1 Insert a game that is very recent(made in 2010-2011), do the same thing as before but hit update from media
2 Download the software from your computer, and with a cable that has miniUSB on one side, plug the psp up to your computer. Turn on your psp, and then copy the downloaded update file to which ever drive you psp is mounted to

Thank you for your time, Good luck and I hope it works

PSP not loading game

Hi,

I guess you must have updated your psp to more recent version while you were online. This i guess is one of the reasons why your psp games on your memory card is not showing on the screen.

You'll need to check the version your psp is running at the moment by going to System Setting > System Information, and you'll see the version that your psp is sunning on. Most versions above Version 5 might not play games on your memory card. You'll have to use umd's to play games.

PSP wont play games or movies

Go here to update your firmware and x your fingers. Generally, these things happen after you use a new game that updates parts of the firmware without you knowing it.

Battery Or Charging Problem.

Have you updated your firmware recently? Check your PSP to make sure there aren't any loose connections. If you're comfortable with it, you could open it up and make sure the plug for the charger didn't come loose somewhere. It may just need a touch of solder to put it back into place.
