Question about Dryers
Currently the drum rotates and heats with really loud noise that begs ya to turn off the appliance. I am struggling to get the drum out. I have unscrewed the lint filter, taken off the top screws that keep the front door near the drum. I am unable to get down to the bottom screws or hinge. Whatever is keeping the front bottom part of the unit near the drum is just beyond my reach. I'm guessing the belt needs replacing on the approximately 4 year old unit and possibly some other unit. I did notice that the drum shows some rubbing on one section of the outer portion of the drum.
Lewis your almost there.the noise is a roller/wheel .unplug unit pop the top remove the frount panels.this will expose the drum.remove the belt and then you will have exposed all the moving parts inspect clean and replace as needed.you can do it yes we can
