My menu on my mp3 is in arabic, tried deleting unwanted music per instruction in the poorly provided info packed in the box. Arabic comes up. How do i get rid of Arabic and how do I delete a file? Make...

I can onlyhelp you with the Arabic in this way.
I am sure if you look in the setting you will find English to set your MP3 player to... but to delete the unwanted files do the following:

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

Delete songs from mp3

1) Go to Settings/USB Mode and change to MSC mode which make it works as a flash drive/memory stick 2) In Windows explorer, you should see two drives in My Computer, one for the unit, one for the card slo 3) As for a 'normal' PC, you can now just delete any files/songs from your Sansa directories in either drives! (you can also move existing or add new files). note: if your normally use SanDisk Media Converter program or Windows Media Player, you must change the USB mode setting on your Sansa back to 'MTP' before those programs can see your device.

I have no explaination of why this has happened, but to delete the music you do not want on your MP3 player do the following:

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

The Sansa M200 series devices do not allow deletion of downloaded content directly from the device. You must connect he device to PC/Mac via USB to delete downloaded content. You will also need to use media software such as Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, iTunes, etc.. to see all of the music content on the player to be able to delete the songs you don't want. (i.e. just viewing the device in Windows Explorer might not show everything that is on he player.)

Not exaclty, deleting songs has to be done when recharging through the usb port on your pc or laptop.

Once connected you should see and icon or folder(Sansa E260) pop up on you desktop representing your player which can be opened and contains your playlists, individual songs, and any media you may have transferred.

Within this window you can move songs, edit lists and if necessary delete any unwanted items.
