Question about Panasonic DMC-FX07 Digital Camera
Hi! My Panasonic DMC-FX07 Digital Camera won't turn on. It's been
working perfectly all the time and one day it just wouldn't turn on. Please let me know if you
have any ideas about what has happened to my camera.
Thank you in advance!

Check your batteries, but otherwise it could be a power board. It could cost between $90 - $125 to replace the board

Hi. I have the same problem with my panasonic lumix dmc fx07. if my camera is off for a long period of time, it won't turn on at all. the reason for this is because when the battery is left in the camera for too long, it discharges and will probably not be able to charge again. i've gona through about 6 batteries before i realized that this is the reason. if you go to http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Cameras-Camcorders/Digital-Cameras/Lumix-Digital-Cameras/model.DMC-FX07K and click on operating instructions, you can read on page 5 that this is probably the case; this is what it says:
When not using the camera for a long
period of time
• Store the battery in a cool and dry place
with a relatively stable temperature.
15 oC to 25 oC (59 oF to 77 oF),
Recommended humidity: 40% to 60%]
• Always remove the battery and the card
from the camera.
• If the battery is left inserted in the camera,
it will discharge even if the camera is
turned off. If the battery continues to be
left in the camera, it will discharge
excessively and may become unusable
even if charged.
•When storing the battery for a long period
of time, we recommend charging it once a
year. Remove the battery from the camera
and store it again after it has completely
•We recommend storing the camera with a
desiccant (silica gel) when you keep it in a
closet or a cabinet.
