You can use a hotter setting or put fewer clothes in. It also helps to shake out the clothes before you put them in and remove them as soon as it's finished drying. Good luck and remember to rate me. Thanks.

We have an Ultima washing machine and creases the cloths very badly any suggestions please

The amount of creasing you will get is directly related to the speed you select for the final spin dry cycle and the spin after the first wash cycle which occurs prior to the rinse cycle. The higher the speed and the longer it goes for the more the clothes will crease.

Experiment with different spin speeds on your machine for clothing that is subject to the creasing problem. Also do not put too many items in the machine for a wash as many people do as this will contribute to creasing. Always under load your machine for every wash cycle.

Spin drying is a compromise between creasing and maximum water removal. If you want less creasing you will need to select a more gentle spin dry speed but you will also have the clothes coming out of the machine with a higher water content and they will take a bit longer to dry. The spin time on the program may also be shorter.

In my own machines I use a gentle wash and spin cycle for all clothing that I don't want heavily creased. Running it on a wash cycle with a high and longer spin speed when the machine is spinning the clothes after the initial wash, and then again after the final rinse, will thoroughly crease the clothes every time.

Also bear in mind that different fabrics that are suitable for machine washing will perform differently and some are just too subject to creasing even if you use the most gentle wash, rinse and spin cycle. Hence you can take 2 different 100% cotton fabrics out of a machine and hang them to dry and one will be almost crease free and the other will be thoroughly creased. With these fabrics that are just very subject to wash creasing, it is better to hand wash and rinse them. Then after rinsing drip dry them or put them in the machine and spin them for 1 -2 minutes maximum just to get some of the water out and hang dry them.

First Time Dressing a Mannequin? Read This!

When dressing your mannequin, it's important you find the articles of clothing. The clothes must fit the mannequin properly and they mustn't have any wrinkle or creases. Make sure to steam/them the clothing on both sides of the garment. Remove the tags on the clothing if they can't be hidden.
Always start from the bottom of the mannequin and work your way up, leaving outer layers last to ensure they do not crease or wrinkle.
If the mannequin's legs are close together and you can put the pants on without detaching them, do so. In this case, it's best to put the mannequin in a seated position with its legs out straight ahead.
If you are unable to fit the pants on the mannequin's legs while they are attached, remove the legs and put the pants on separately. You can then reattach the legs when you are finished. If this is your first time reattaching the legs, ask for help because this part can be tricky.
Once you get to the torso of the mannequin, you may find you are working with a shirt without zippers or buttons and can't be opened. In this case, you will need to remove the arms from the torso before you begin. You can then put the arms back into place when you have finished.
If you are working with sitting/reclining mannequins, you will find it can be difficult to dress them in certain styles of clothing, such as tight jeans. You may also need to use larger sizes in order to fit them. It may be difficult to layer the clothing on these types of mannequins. You may also have similar difficulties dressing mannequins with bent arms.
Always take a final look at your mannequin to check and see everything looks right, the buttons are done up, etc.
Once you become more experienced with dressing a mannequin, you will be able to spend more time in styling them with the right accessories, popping the collar on a shirt, or just rolling up their sleeves to bring some life into your display.
Good luck!

Why are my business shirts on a gentle cycle or any wash cycle so badly tangled togther?

Hi Stella,

I suspect the tangled shirts coming out of the washer is a result of the differences between the way a front loader vs a top loader clean clothes and can not be avoided. I don't think this is the source of the wrinkles though. I suspect the wrinkles are more a result of how long clothes remain in the dryer *after* the cycle has completed. If you remove the clothes *promptly* from the dryer and use a "dryer sheet" you will reduce / minimize the wrinkling you're seeing.

How do I prevent envelopes from getting creased on a Ricoh MP c3500?

Hopefully you are using the bypass when printing them. Creasing is only caused by two things. Moisture in the paper and uneven fusing. Make sure when you are printing them you select thick 2 in the printer properties pull down menu. If the problem continues switch the feed direction and possibly the brand of envelopes. The same thing applies to printing labels (the thick 2 setting will provide the necessary heat to properly fuse the toner). But when copying, push the # key and select thick paper from the menu there.

How to remove wrinkles from polyester table cloth?

After unfolding a new tablecloth, you'll quickly notice those pesky creases. Even after washing and drying the tablecloth, they may still be there and with wrinkles too. Before you iron a polyester tablecloth -- which if done incorrectly may burn, melt, stain or shrink the fabric -- try rewashing and drying it in a manner that reduces wrinkles and helps get rid of creases. Then, iron only if necessary.

Crease in page when printing cannon image runner 1310

A crease is usually caused by two issues. 1 ) paper is hitting something on the way to the fuser causing a skew. This type of problem would be repeatable every page as well as causing the image to be off centre. The 2) reason is the more likely cause. A bearing on the lower (pressure roller) is beginning to seize. Causing paper not to feed straight through the fuser. This cause a wrinkle from from to back on the sheet of paper. This wrinkle although repeatable generally the wrinkle position up or down on the sheet. This gives the impression of something that is getting in the way of the sheet. If you can change your lower pressure bearings you should be ok again.

The dryer is showing anti crease on the LCD. What can i do to reset or fix the problem.

have you tried disconnecting the power for about 15 minutes to see if it clears
anti crease refers to the dryer continuing to tublme for about 10-15 seconds every 5-10 minutes so when cycle is complete the clothing doesnt just set there where wrinkles can set in ,it tumbles after end of cycle to prevent wrinkling

Wrinkled copies

Fuser unit is about the only thing in this model of printer that WILL cause wrinkling/creasing of the paper. So most likely, yes you are going to need to replace the fusing assembly.
