Question about Microsoft Zune JS8-00001 Digital Media Player

1 Answer

Stuck on startup screen.

I've tried restarting with the back and the d-pad left.
I've tried restarting with the back and the d-pad up.
I've tried restarting with the back and the d-pad down.
And I've tried holding down the play/pause button to turn it off.
None of these got it off of the startup screen.
Please help!

Hello my friend, I was about to throw my zune to the trash but I thought, what the hell let's open this piece of ****. So I looked up for a video in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJwLn75RQRM, this guy teaches you how to change your zune hard drive, it's preaty cool. So I opened my device and first I disconeccted and connected both cables (Battery and the other one I don't know what it is...), started up my device and walahh!! it worked. I hope it works for you!

Lg laptop recovery startup

Try to connect an external mouse to see if that works. Also, many laptops have a lock for the touchpad. Normally one of the F keys along the top will have a button that looks like a touch pad / touch pad with an x on it. You may or may not have to press the FN key (usually bottom left on keyboard) while to press the necessary F key. this should unlock your pointer.

I have a gateway gt5622 to will not boot beyond the screen that says starting windows. I have tried updating the bios, changing the power supply, changing the memory, disabling usb in bios, and nothing...

Hi,

If your system is stuck on the Windows Start Screen Screen you can try to boot using Safe Mode by restarting the computer and tapping F8 while it is booting. When it successfully load the Operating system you can disable some startups on the machine. Click on Start then click on RUN, type MSCONFIG on the dialog box located on the lower left of your screen. Then Click on the SERVICES tab. Put a tick on Hide All Microsoft Services then click on Disable All button. Disabling some startup software may fixed the problem. Restart the computer see if it will works. If not then you need to Reinstall the Operating System to your machine.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Stuck on the restart your computer screen.

You may have installed something in the startup items folder that your mac isn't liking.
When you turn the iBook on, press the shift key as soon as you hear the startup tone. hold it down until you see the gray apple screen. This will get you into safe mode, hopefully then you'll be able to fix whatever you did from there. If you are still at a loss, get in touch.
