Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
The machine starts up fine but then the code appears
You have 2 boards on a duet, one is the main computer, and the other is the motor control board, your unit is having a communication problem between the two. you will have to try to see if a wiring harness between the two has jiggled loose. disconnect them, then reconnect and see if that helps. The main board is on top, directly behing the display( remove top panel to access), the motor control board is below(remove basedoor to access that one). if that doesn't help, get your checkbook ready

An "F-11" error code on a Whirlpool Duet could cause your washer to become inoperable and stop in the middle of a load. The cause of the problem could be a number of things and may require new parts.
F11 can mean anything from motor to motor control board to ccu board to wiring harness connecting ccu to mcu to motor.
The "F-11" code could appear with the dash or without the dash on the LCD screen. Be aware that there is also an "F-H" code that could look similar to the "F-11" code. Listen for 11 beeps to go along with the error code's first appearance.
The error means that there is no communication between the "Motor Control Unit" and the "Central Control Unit." This means that any operation selected like "Pre-wash" or "Large Load" cannot be sent to the motor for the washer to operate.
Open up the washer panel to check the wire connections between the two units. If any plugs are loose or unplugged, reconnect them. Check to make sure none of the wires are stripped, rusty or broken off. After you reconnect the wires, rerun the washer to see if the error appears again.
If you do not know or understand the inside components of your Whirlpool washer, leave the job to a professional. Contact the store where you purchased the washer or Whirlpool customer service directly.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
FH error is displayed when the control detects no water entering the machine. To clear this error press and hold the PAUSE/CANCEL button twice. You can then check if the water inlet valve is fine and not clogged with foreign particles, try to clean it. If the water inlet valve appears to be fine then check if the pressure switch hose is properly connected to the pressure switch & tub. Please get back to me if you have any questions.
